CHANDIGARH, Nov 4: Ramanpreet Pahwa of Chandigarh gave excellent performance in the 27th Sub-Junior National and Inter-State carrom championships held recently at Thiruvanthapuram (Kerala). He entered quarterfinals of boys singles event which gave him fifth ranking in the nationals.According to Mahesh Sekhri, secretary, Chandigarh Carrom Association, Ramanpreet also paired with Sumit Chakarvarty to enter the last eight stage of boys doubles event. Ramanpreet also took part in the Federation Cup held at the same venue.Cricket meetThe fourth Gursagar cash prize cricket tournament will be held at Gursagar ground from November 14. Entries close on November 10, at Gursagar office (near Lake Club).
