Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray8217;s nephew Raj Thackeray took pot shots at virtually every celebrity and political personality with his caricatures. Aptly titled Chehre Mohre8217;, the 108-odd caricatures on famous personalities is being showcased at the Balgandharva Rangmandir. The exhibition was inaugurated by music maestro Bhimsen Joshi this morning. Whether it was Sachin Tendulkar8217;s curly mop or Anil Kapoor prickly beard, Mayawati8217;s pony tail or L K Advani resembling a character in Ramayan with his bow and arrow, Abdul Kalam gritting his teeth alongside a nuclear missile or Jayalalitha in her bullet-proof cape, Thackeray seemed to capture the essence of almost every personality through his caricatures. Film star Nana Patekar was also present for the inauguration. The exhibition is open till February 20.
