Rain washes out second day8217;s play

PORT ELIZABETH, March 7: Play was abandoned without a ball being bowled on the second day of the third Test between South Africa and Pakistan at St George8217;s Park today.

Heavy rain fell throughout the morning and early afternoon forcing umpires Steve Dunne and Rudi Koertzen to call off play at 1.30 pm local time.
