NEW DELHI: Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, top scientist and father of India8217;s integrated guided missile development programme, has been selected for the prestigious Indira Gandhi award for national integration for 1997. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs 1.51 lakh and a citation to be given away by Sonia Gandhi on October 31.
