Screen-Videocon awards ceremony todayMUMBAI: The excitement building in Bollywood over the fourth Screen-Videocon Awards will culminate on Saturday evening in a star-studded ceremony at the Andheri Sports Complex here.Deemed the most difficult awards to win because of the tough judging process, the entire film industry has been waiting with bated breath for the awards to be declared. And as the clock strikes seven in the evening, the best in Bollywood will be given their rightful crowns.Those biting nails over the best actor award are Aamir Khan (Ishq), Anil Kapoor (Virasaat), Govinda (Deewana Mastana), Kamal Haasan (Chachi 420) and Shah Rukh Khan (Dil To Pagal Hai). The actresses in fray are Juhi Chawla (Yes Boss), Madhuri Dixit (Mrityudand), Sridevi (Judaai), Tabu (Virasaat) and Rekha (Aastha).And the best film award nominees are Border, Chachi 420, Mrityudand, Pardes and Virasaat. While their directors J P Dutta, Kamal Haasan, Prakash Jha, Subhash Ghai and Priyadarshan respectively have been short-listed for the best director award.Doordarshan will telecast the awards function on Sunday, January 18, on DD I from 9.30 pm.
