Bangarappa freed of graft charges

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court today discharged former chief minister S Bangarappa from a CBI case that he had allegedly acquired wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. Justice B K Sangalwad also set aside the August 9 order of the trial judge directing framing of charges against Bangarappa.
