94 dead in bus mishap

DAVANGERE: In the worst ever bus tragedy, 94 persons drowned after a packed private bus plunged into a lake at Devarabelaker village in Karnataka8217;s Davangere district Monday evening, police officials said. The bus carrying about 120 passengers crashed through the railings of a bridge and fell into the lake, leaving 45 men, 34 women and 15 children dead, said IGP eastern range A R Infant.
