Kaneria vs Kumble:

There is nothing much to choose between Danish and Kumble. They have the same bag of tricks — flipper, googly. Both don’t turn the ball viciously like say someone like Abdul Qadir or Mushtaq Ahmed. For me the only area of difference between Danish and Kumble is the Indian’s experience and the wickets that has been gathered over the years. But this is Danish’s best chance to make the most of the opportunity of playing on Indian pitches.

Arshad vs Harbhajan:

Harbhajan obviously has more variety than Arshad. Arshad is much more of a steady bowler. He does not get much bounce like Harbhajan. The Indian off-spinner is much quicker through the air and keeps varying his pace very well. Harbhajan enjoys bowling on Indian pitches and uses this experience very well. Arshad on the other hand is more of a long-distance bowler. Arshad will work on the batsman’s patience. Obviously his time away from the national side has matured Arshad, so we hope his experience comes in handy.
