PUTA stir on

Chandigarh, March 9: About 85 members who attended the meeting of the Panjab University Teachers Association PUTA held at the university this evening decided to continue the boycott of setting of question papers till the Punjab government issued the notification on revised pay scales. This was stated by the PUTA secretary, Dr M Rajivlochan added that it was also unanimously resolved that the 8220;wranglings between the VC and the syndicate must not go on at the cost of the teachers8217; promotions and selections.8221;
