Graduation ceremony
The graduation ceremony of the 79 Engineer Officers degree engineering course was held at the College of Military CME in Pune on Friday. Lt. Gen. H.M. Khanna, GOC-in-C Southern Command, was the chief guest.

Twenty officers including one from Bhutan Army and one from Zambian Army from civil engineering and 20 officers from electrical engineering streams were awarded B. Tech. degrees of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Lt. Gen. Ashok Puri, CME commandant, delivered the welcome address. Capt. Mukesh Sharma and Capt. Sanjay Hooda received the gold medals for standing first in civil engineering and electrical engineering disciplines, respectively.

Land rights campaign
Pune district collectorate will organise a campaign from October 27 to November 3 for redressal of people8217;s grievances about registrations of land. During the week-long period, the villagewise records of land will be kept at the respective taluka offices. The people can register their complaints at the office. On the receipt of the complaint will be mentioned the timing, dates and venue of the inquiry. Those who send their complaints by post will be informed of the details of the inquiry by post.
