Prof nabbed on molestation charge

MUMBAI, June 9: A science professor of the Ali Yavar Jung Institute of the Hearing Handicapped, Bandra, was arrested on June 4 on charges of molesting a female student. Professor Nagraj 40 was arrested following a complaint filed by Poornima Omprakash Kukkar 21.

Kukkar, a third year B Sc student of Nair Medical College, alleged that while she was giving her practical exams on May 21, Nagraj touched her cheeks over which she expressed her resentment. Nagraj was released on June 4 on a personal bond of Rs 950.
