I know the top 10 guys are tough and last year I was really close in a lot of matches, he said after clinching his fourth title. Euro playoffs in EPL?

Englands Premier League is reportedly considering the introduction of playoffs to decide which team takes the fourth Champions League place. The top four currently qualify automatically for Europes top club competition but The Guardian newspaper says the Premier League could reduce that to three and give the final place to the winner of end-of-season playoffs involving teams finishing fourth to seventh.

Air India beat Sporting 2-1

Mumbai club Air India beat Sporting Clube de Goa 2-1 to move above the relegation zone in the I-League. After a barren first half,Mohammad Dada Nabeel and Vijeth Shetty scored for the visitors,while Junior Obagbemiro reduced the margin for the hosts. Air India move to 11th place,while Sporting remain bottom.

Warrant for Landis arrest

France8217;s anti-doping chief says a French judge has issued an international arrest warrant for US cyclist Floyd Landis in connection with a case of data hacking at a doping laboratory. Pierre Bordry said that French judge Thomas Cassuto is seeking to question Landis about computer hacking dating back to September 2006. Bordry says computers at the Chatenay-Malabry laboratory were breached by hackers who took data in a bid to discredit the lab.
