Oz outlet store sells designer labels by weight

A fashion retail chain in Australia is now selling designer garments for just a few cents per gram.

A fashion retail chain in Australia is now selling designer clothes according to its weight, for just a few cents per gram.

Unlike traditional stores where customers buy full priced or partially discounted clothes,Fashion Brands by Kg has come up with a system where the customers buy and pay for each designer label by the gram.

According to the managing director,Joseph Golubinsky, popular brands including Ralph Lauren would be sold from eight cents per gram,Tommy Hilfiger from six cents,DKNY from 12 cents and Guess and Calvin Klein from 10 cents per gram.

At the end of the day buying clothes by weight is a very different retail experience, the Daily Telegraph quoted Golubinsky as saying.

Its a low price cheaper than outlet stores.

As per the website, the store will remain open until all fashion garments are completely sold out.

Sometimes it only takes a few days!

At most, the temporary store front remains open for a week or two and then move to another location to do it all over again, the website read. ANI
