Bruce Lee,My Brother,a biopic,traces the early life story of the man who put Hong Kong action films on the map,its director,Raymond Yip told The Hollywood Reporter. The film pieces together the superstars childhoodand young adulthood from the memories of his four surviving siblings,Phoebe,Agnes,Peter who died in 2008 and Robert. The biopic took years to put on the screen,not least because of the difficult task of finding a young actor to play the role of the iconic megastar. Weve been on the lookout for a possible candidate all over China since 2008,but no one could capture the Hong Kong spirit of the young Bruce Lee, Yip said. The film began pre-production in March to push for a November 25 release in Hong Kong. The 4.6 million project has been snapped up by distributors in over 10 territories.

Lindsay Lohanhas lost out on a film about the life of adult-film star Linda Lovelace. The director of Inferno,a planned film about the life of Lovelace,who starred in Deep Throat and other pornographic movies,said he had parted ways with Lohan and was pursuing another actress to play the role,The Hollywood Reporter said. The part of Lovelace had been mentioned as a comeback vehicle for Lohan,the Mean Girls star who in October was ordered back to rehab after failing a drug test.

Susan Boyles album,The Gift had 335,000 sales,according to Nielsen SoundScan,a gain of 5 per cent over its first week and since second-week drops are the norm for new albums,this suggests she will have staying power. In second place is O Holy Night Columbia by Jackie Evancho,the 10-year-old runner-up on the latest season of Americas Got Talent,Rihannas Loud Def Jam is at No. 3 with 207,000; Josh Grobans new Illuminations 143/Reprise is No. 4 with 191,000 and Kid Rocks Born Free Atlantic is at No. 5
