Viren Rasquinha was stopped from entering the mixed zone after the Pakistan-South Africa match as he didnt have the required media pass to enter the arena. Rasquinha,who has been roped in as an expert by a news channel,and a few journalists tried to convince the cops and told them he was a former India captain but they didnt budge.

Great improvement

Now that India will be playing for the 7th-8th position classification matches,coach Jose Brasa says it has been a great improvement under his tenure. Asked if he was satisfied with the show in the World Cup,Brasa quipped: We finished 11th in the last World Cup,now we may finish 7th. There is an improvement of four places in six months since I have taken over. In another six months well be in the top three.
