Clinton recovering well after elbow surgery

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who injured her right elbow and had to undergo a surgery,is almost back to normal.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who injured her right elbow and had to undergo a surgery,is almost back to normal and ready to take her second trip to Asia, which includes a visit to India.

8220;I think that you have seen her doing a fairly normal schedule. She still needs to do some physical therapy on the elbow,8221; State Department spokesman Ian Kelly told reporters in response to a question.

Kelly said the very fact she is going on a foreign travel reflects that she is close to resuming her full schedule.

8220;She is going on this trip to India and Thailand, and I think she is close to resuming a full, and of course very intense, schedule, which is the normal kind of schedule that she has,8221; Kelly said.

Clinton injured her right elbow about a month ago hours after she delivered her first foreign policy speech on India at the 34th annual convention of the US India Business Council. Within a few days she had to undergo a surgery.

Consequently she had to stay at home several days and cancelled most of her foreign trip, including those to Russia and Italy.
