No relief for Kochi Tuskers Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday rejected Kochi Tuskers Keralas plea seeking to restrain the Cricket Board (BCCI) from encashing or enforcing its bank guarantee of Rs 156 crore. I refuse to give any relief and I am rejecting the application, Justice S F Vajifdar said in a brief order,the details of which would be given later. On September 19,the BCCI had terminated the contract of Kochi Tuskers Kerala for alleged breach of contractual terms,prompting the IPL franchise to move the High Court. The BCCI had announced two days ago that it had decided to encash or enforce the bank guarantee of Kochi Tuskers in their possession and also terminate the franchise as they had allegedly breached the contractual terms. Sachins proposal rejected COLOMBO: ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat has ruled out changes to 50-over cricket despite a proposal put forward by Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar wrote to Lorgat last month suggesting four 25-over innings rather than the traditional 50-over format. However,Lorgat said the ICC saw no reason to change. PCB shifts T20 tournament KARACHI: An outbreak of dengue in Lahore has forced the Pakistan Cricket Board to shift its premier domestic tournament to Karachi. The PCB announced its decision on Wednesday after President Asif Zardari had advised to move the national T20 championship out of Lahore. He is on very high level of oxygen support requiring intermittent BIPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure). He is conscious and his cardiac function remains stable. He is being monitored very closely, a hospital bulletin said. He is being observed closely by a team of pulmonologists and critical care specialists, it said.
