Ajeet Singhvi elected new AAPI president

Eminent Indian-American doctor Ajeet R Singhvi has been elected as the new president of American Association of Physicians of India Origin.

Eminent Indian-American doctor Ajeet R Singhvi has been elected as the new president of American Association of Physicians of India Origin.

Singhvi and other office bearers of AAPI 8211; one of the largest and influential body of doctors in the US were elected at its annual board meeting held in Washington over the weekend.

8220;I am very pleased to announce that our recent elections have successfully concluded and I would like to congratulate the new leadership that will take AAPI forward after our national convention in June,8221; said Dr Vinod K Shah,outgoing AAPI president.

Other office bearers are Sunita Kanumury,president-elect; Narendra Kumar,vice-president; Jayesh Shah,secretary; and Ravi Jahagirdar,treasurer.

While Priya Kundra was elected president of the Young Physicians Section; Mamta Singhvi was elected president for Medical Students,Residents and Fellows Section.
