Bollywood buffs, here8217;s a treat you can8217;t miss. As part of a fund raiser, People for Animals, Chandigarh has put up their exhibition cum sale of rare Bollywood posters titled Divas Unveiled. A collector8217;s item, you8217;ll find those dramatically drawn Eastman coloured posters of a bygone era, of films that have been masterpieces. From bestsellers like Sholay, Mother India and Mughal-e-Azam to Raj Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan series, first edition prints of Aah, Barsaat, Aan, Boot Polish, Sangam, Shri 420, Anarkali, Aar Paar, Kati Patang, Khandaan, Do Ankhen Barah Haath, Daag, Johnny Mera Naam, Don, The Great Gambler, Yaarana, Sholay, Deewar, Trishul, Suhaag, Muquadar Ka Sikander to latest films like Don, Om Shanti Om, Mangal Pandey, Chak de India, Devdas, the posters are on display and for sale at the Government Art Gallery, Sector 10, Chandigarh till November 3. The posters are available in two sizes i.e. 408221; x 308221; 038; 308221;x 208221;. The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Ram Niwas, Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration. The exhibition will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm.
