CALCUTTA: The BJP has fallen back on the rath again to make a dent in West Bengal, but this time it also needs a magic spell. The party has hit the road with a jadu rath magic van which has all the paraphernalia necessary to stage magic shows. There is even a talking doll which asks you to stamp on the lotus symbol.

The magician who will ride on the rath through the state is Sujit Chakravarthy, a party member and a professional magician and the brain behind the project. 8220;Through a variety of magic tricks we will try to project the achievements of the BJP Government and convince people why it should be returned to power,8221; state BJP general secretary Rahul Sinha said. While the Left parties and the Congress may call all this just an illusion, the saffron party certainly needs a trick or two to break into the red citadel.
