One killed in freak mishap
A 35-year-old labourer was killed in a freak accident on Wednesday night. Surinder was sleeping under a tree in New Friend8217;s Colony, South Delhi. According to the police, a reversing truck banged into the tree, which fell on Surinder. He was rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was declared dead.

Man robbed
A man who had left a bag containing Rs four lakh in his car was robbed on Friday by two men on motor cycle who made away with it, even as the driver sat in the car. The car was parked near Hotel Intercontinental and the driver was unable to note down the number of the motorcycle. A.C. Kakkad, to whom the money belonged, had withdrawn it from a bank in the morning and had gone to the World Trade Centre leaving the bag in the car. Kakkad is an accountant in Super Steel India Ltd, Faridabad.
