The primary runway at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport was closed between 1 pm and 3 pm. 8220;A major disaster was averted at the airport. Had the plane landed 10 minutes ago, nearly 150 people would have lost their lives,8221; said an AAI official.
