quot;THE EYEquot;

Spic Macay Society for promotion of Indian classical music and culture amongst the youth publishes a quarterly magazine called The Eye. Described as a written word movement, the magazine aims at reaching the campus crowd. Where The Eye, also differs is that it has a large number of writers, illustrators and designers who contribute without monetary compensation. The Delhi-based magazine was borne of the belief that there is a need to examine and validate the culture of the Indian subcontinent and the individual within the framework of the modern society.

In its fourth year of existence, the Creative Media Cell of SPIC MACAY is hoping to widen their publishing range to include books, monographs and children8217;s books. The Eye has already started printing the Third Eye cards, drawing from its existing bank of illustrations to further the message of the magazine.
