PUNE, Aug 18: PGI A8217; defeated PGI B8217; on a day of clear margins in their league match of the 15th Inter-Club Billiards and Snooker championship at the Poona Club tables.

After Maskrenas had outwitted PGI B8217;s Fernandes 3-0 in the first tally, N Harry broke 40 in the first frame itself to down a resurgent C D8217;Souza 70-16, 77-16, 22-59, 44-68, 49-34. Frances clinched the final issue for PGI A8217; after he took Alphonso 64-47, 25-63, 63-34, 67-36.
