
PANCHKULA, Sept 25: The Yavanika open air theatre here was packed with audience today for the peace concert organised by a group of young Bahai artists.
The show took off with a prayer and was followed by various dances and songs depicting casteism, extremities of wealth and poverty and efforts to bring equality. This was followed by an interactive drama on the topic of communal harmony.
All the performances by the 19 members of the Bahai Art Group revolved around their belief that people must forget all their prejudices and learn to broaden their vision. The performers included people from Panchgani, Bangalore, Manipur, Lucknow, Indore, Sikkim, Mumbai, UAE, and Tanzania. The programme was sponsored by the District Council for Child Welfare and Deputy Commissioner Vivek Joshi was the chief guest.
