PCB drive against plastic soon

Cantonment executive officer J Sharma said that he had already written to hotels urging them not to dump their waste indiscriminately. Earlier, he had mentioned that the cantonment board was examining the possibility of fixing proper timings for all major hotels to throw their garbage in nearby bins so that these could be picked by vans on their daily rounds. The board had also decided to introduce separate bins for non-biodegradable waste and also introduce it in almost every street to ensure that the garbage was not thrown on the streets.
