
MUMBAI, March 23: RG Pawar handicap 12 scored an impressive 56-27 triumph over S Gunjal 8 in the second-round of the AR Dias Open Break billiards tournament, sponsored by ATM Shipping, at the Catholic Gymkhana, today. In another interesting encounter, DG Kasar 14 scored a hard-fought 63-56 victory over H Chandiwala 10, also in the second-round.
In yet another match of the same competition, TP Tauro 14 trounced D Thacker 10 107-10 to enter the third round.

Business India scored a facile nine-wicket win over Godrej Soaps, in the semi-finals of the D Division Thanevaibhav cricket tournament 35 overs at the Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane.
Business India will now meet New India Co-op. Bank, who beat World Network Services by eight wickets to enter the final.

Credit Agricole Indosuez won the Sir Benegal Ramarau Trophy after defeating Bank of Baroda by 38-runs in the final of Junior Division Inter-Bank Cricket tournament at the Wankhede Stadium here.
Batting first, Induseuz scored 227 for the loss of seven wickets. Openers Salauddin Kadri 21 and Rashid Dotiwala 42 gave them a flying start as they added 57 runs in 13.5 overs.
