CHANDIGARH, Sept 9: A paper-reading contest on quot;Human valuesquot; was organised by the State Institute of Education, Sector 32, for primary teachers of city schools. The competition had 26 participants and was presided over by Dr H.C. Sharma, Director of the institute. quot;Primary teachers are the foundation of the educational edifice. Only through inculcation of values does a man he becomes humane in his behaviour and attitude.quot;

The results of the contest are: first 8211; Surjit Kaur of GSSS Sector 45, Second 8211; Paramjit Kaur of GHS Sector 26 and Meena Sharma of GSSS Sector 47, and fourth Neeraj Prashar of GSSS Dhanas.
