
VADODARA, Oct 14: A two-member inquiry committee has been set up with the consent of the Maharaja Sayajirao University syndicate to look into the reasons for the resignations of the principal and vice principal of the Polytechnic College.
While A G Telepande and the vice principal S C Shah had submitted their letters to Maharaja Sayajirao University Vice Chancellor Anil Kane, earlier last month, their letters were not accepted following the reasons stated by them.
While both Telepande and Shah had said that they were resigning as they were unable to handle the pressure of student ruckus in the campus.
Apart from Telepande the university has already accepted the resignations of the former incharge registrar Pratibha Desai later in the previous month and the Officer on Special Duty examinations L J Parekh was accepted on Wednesday.
The Maharaja Sayajirao University syndicate members said since the reasons stated in these two letters were given as personal hence the letters were accepted without further inquiry.
