Panel for tribals

After packing the National Commission for SCs with BJP men, the NDA constituted a separate National Commission for Tribals a day before the Election Commission announced the dates for the Lok Sabha polls. The notification was issued on February 28, sources said. The five-member Commission is headed by Kunwar Singh, a tribal leader from Madhya Pradesh, and has a woman sarpanch, Prem Bai Mandavi, as one of the members.
