John McCain8217;s running mate Sarah Palin on Saturday told a customer at a Philadelphia restaurant that if sending troops into Pakistan to take out high-value targets was what America needed 8220;to do to stop terrorists from coming further in, absolutely, we should8221;, a comment that news channels picked up. McCain had chided Obama for saying much the same in the first presidential debate, but he brushed off Palin8217;s comment with the suggestion that it had been a casual remark.
