ONGC trounce BPCL Ref

MUMBAI, June 20: Oil amp; Natural Gas Commission ONGC pumped in three second half goals to defeat BPCL Refineries 3-0 in a Mumbai District Football Association-conducted Harwood League match at the St. Xavier8217;s ground, Parel today. After having dominated for most of the first half, ONGC struck in the 49th minute when Arun Mahale beat the BPCL goalkeeper, M P Shankaran with a neat header. Brian D8217;Mello consolidated the position in the 58th minute when his shot from near half-line caught Shankaran off-guard and despite the goalkeeper8217;s best efforts, the ball went in grazing his fingers.Dominic D8217;Souza set up the third goal with a pass to H Chikale who rounded off the tally.
