SYDNEY, FEB 17: Hundreds of protesters have vowed to lie in front of bulldozers to prevent construction of the Olympic beach volleyball stadium at Australia’s best known beach, Bondi.

Lenny Kovner, spokesman for the Bondi Olympic Watch, said 860 recruits were signed up to help prevent construction of the 10,000-seat stadium. A hundred protesters, under the umbrella of the Olympic Impact Coalition (OIC), rallied against what they say are the adverse impacts of the games.
