MUMBAI, MARCH 30: National Stock Exchange (NSE) has disputed with the disclosures made in the issue prospectus of Archana Software Ltd (ASL) and said it has already rejected the latter’s application for listing its stocks on the exchange.

The company’s application for listing of 30 lakh shares of Rs 10 each being issued now, was rejected as it was `not eligible’, the exchange said in a statement here today.

NSE also clarified that the existing equity shares of ASL were not listed on the exchange as was mentioned in company’s prospectus for the issue, but have been admitted to dealing on it only under `permitted to trade’ category, since September 11, 1996.

ASL said in its prospectus that its existing equity shares were listed on the Madras and Mumbai stock exchanges and NSE, and that the company would apply for listing of its stocks on all these exchanges, NSE said.
