The new chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has categorically rejected any dialogue with the militants unless they abjure violence.

While announcing this at a news conference today, the Congress leader insisted on using the term 8216;8216;terrorists8217;8217; rather than 8216;8216;our own boys8217;8217; 8212; the phrase favoured by PDP8217;s Mufti Mohd Sayeed 8212; reflecting a marked shift of stance from his predecessor.

When a reporter pointed out the difference in the language, Azad said: 8216;8216;If my father or brother is involved in acts where they injure 60 people, I will refuse to acknowledge the relationship.8217;8217;
