He8217;s the son of legendary singer Mahendra Kapoor, who has regaled the film industry for over four decades now. Rohan Kapoor recently made yet another entry 8212; albeit hesitant 8212; into the world of music with his new album, Ishq rab ki dua, which has been produced by, and is being promoted currently by Zee Music.

As far as his acting career was concerned, his cholocate-boy looks helped land him his debut role in Yash Chopra8217;s Faasle, which he followed up with such films as Love 86 and Imaandar. But such colossal duds as Masti and Mera Naseeb ended up grounding his on-screen career. Luckily for him, his riyaaz kept him going, and today tables have turned even as Rohan has been approached for a leading role in a soap called Tamanna to be telecast on SABe-TV.

However, the only thing that8217;s keeping him excited these days, is his album, which has been generating a positive response already.
