IA admits to ID shortage
Indian Airlines IA has admitted to a quot;temporary shortagequot; of permanent identity cards disbursed to senior citizens to avail of discounted fare on its flights.pReacting to a story carried by Express Newsline on Tuesday on the shortage of identity cards, IA clarified that the stock of the identity cards has been replenished and they are now available at its city and airport offices. It said no senior citizen is denied discounted fare for immediate travel, for which prescribed forms could be filled in. quot;All the schemes introduced by IA are still in force and such facilities are not withdrawn due to any austerity measures or shortages,quot; stated a spokesman.
Programme for teachers

Free cancer detectioncamp
The Lions Club of Bombay Airpot has organised a free cancer detection camp on March 29 between 10.30 am and 3 pm at the Santacruz police station compound. Tests will be conducted by the Indian Cancer Society.
