
Test for post of civil judge
MUMBAI, September 20: Maharashtra Public Service Commission will hold a screening test for recruitment to the post of civil judge jr division and judicial magistrate first class in Mumbai on October 4, 1998. Admission letters have already been dispatched to all admitted candidates for the screening test. Those who do not receive the admission letter by September 30, 1998 may obtain the duplicate admission letter on September 30 and October 3 from the office of the MPSC, Bank of India building, M G Road, Mumbai provided their names are included in the list of admitted candidates.
WR to run 26 specials to Ajmer
Western Railway will run 26 special trains to Ajmer between October 15 and 31 on the occasion of the 786th Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.He was speaking at a function held at the Bandra Terminus on Sunday to mark the renaming of the Bandra-Bikaner and Bandra-Jaipur trains as the Ranakpur and Aravali Express respectively. Naik said thatspecial trains from various parts of the country had also been planned to facilitate pilgrims of the Urs. Special trains to Lahore and Bangladesh were also under consideration, he stated. Naik said that the railways were endeavouring to improve conditions at the Bandra Terminus railway station. Keeping in view the limitation of the Mumbai Central Terminus, Bandra would be developed to accommodate 24-coach trains.
