Lottery agents cancel dharna

The Maharashtra Lottery Agents8217; Association has withdrawn its threat to go on a dharna on Monday following talks scheduled with state Finance Minister Mahadev Shivankar same day.

The association was protesting the government8217;s decision to introduce a new lottery ticket of Rs 15 for a jackpot of Rs 21 lakh. They are also demanding daily draws from Monday to Saturday.
