Debate at varsity

A debate on Has the United Nations succeeded in ensuring global peace?8217; will be held on June 26 at the Convocation Hall of University of Mumbai. The university is organising the debate in collaboration with the Maharashtra United Nations Association.

Free medical camp at Kurla

A free medical camp will be held at Jhule Lal Mandir, Kurla W on June 28. The Jhule Lal Mandal Trust, which is organising the camp, will also distribute spectacles at a concessional rate of Rs 10.

Lecture on nuclear explosion

The Indian Association of Retired Persons has arranged a lecture by V G Kulkarni, former director of Atomic Energy Commission on June 28 at 5 pm at Gohil House, Lady Jamshetji road, Mahim. Essay contest on nuclear science

The Department of Atomic Energy is conducting the 10th All India Essay contest in Nuclear Science and Technology forUniversity students. There are two separate topics, one for regular undergraduate students and one for post-graduate students. Workshop postponed

A workshop on Understanding Islam and Communal Conflicts8217; to be held on June 27, has been postponed to July 18. The workshop organised by Centre for study of Society and Secularism, will be held at the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh between 4-7 pm.
