Weekend creative centre

The Divine Grace Youth Academy has started its weekend creative centre Aspiration8217; at Bhavan8217;s A H Wadia School, Andheri west, and Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan, opposite Chandan Cinema, Juhu. Fellowship awarded

The Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology AOFOG has decided to award a posthumous fellowship to the late Dr C L Jhaveri. The conferring of the fellowship will be made at the opening ceremony. Agold medal and a gown will be presented. Dr Jayashree Jhaveri, daughter of late Dr C L Jhaveri will accept the award.

Aid for cyclone victims

Pramukh Swami Maharaj, while presiding over an annual meet of Sadhus at Vallah Vidyanagar, has announced aid for victims of the devastating cyclone that has ripped through Gujarat. Sadhu Jnanprasaddas, Sadhu Yogiswarupdas, Sadhu Dharmakuvardas and a team of sadhus have rushed to the spot, accompanied by youth volunteers, with more than five tons of wheat flour, rice and dal for the affected families. Truckloads of supplies are being organised for Kandla, Ghandhidham, Anjaar and Navlakhi.
