Science exhibition
The North Mumbai T8217; Ward High Schools will hold a science exhibition at St Mary8217;s Convent High School, Mulund W, with the inaugural ceremony to be held on December 1 at 9.30 am. Deputy Director of Education, Greater Mumbai, R S Kelkar will be the chief guest. A valedictory function will be held on December 3, with Dr Sunila Mathur, secretary, board of trustees of the Indian Women Scientists8217; Association as chief guest.

XIC to hold media festival
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Xavier Institute of Communications XIC, over a 100 years of cinema and other media developments, XIC will hold a media festival titled Century of Fantasy8217; from December 4 to 8. The Helen Keller Institute for Deaf and DeafBlind has organised an exhibition-cum-sale of jewellery and candlesat the Cymroza Art Gallery, Bhulabhai Desai Road between December 2- 5, 1999 from 10.30 am to 7pm.

Classical music competition
