Explosives recovered
Five light explosive bombs were recovered from a building under construction at Adi Shakaracharya Marg at Powai Check naka this afternoon. Said the Saki Naka police, the bombs were recovered from the fourth floor of building no 6, part of a complex constructed by Shirke Constructions, at 1.00 pm. A bomb disposal squad sprang into action and defused three of the five bombs. The two other bombs were later defused at the Forensic Science Laboratory. First ever

Air France cancels flights
Air France has cancelled its flights between Paris and Mumbai-Delhi till June six following the strike by its pilots, who areprotesting against the restructuring programme of the airline. The flights had been affected since June one, an airline spokesman said adding that flights to Asia for Friday has been cancelled due to the strike.
