NEW DELHI, November 12: Mukundgarh triumphed over Cafe Polo 2 1/2-2 and NOIDA beat Mount Kailash 4-3 in the semi-final of Ratanada Cup at Army Equestrian Centre Polo ground today.

In a closely contested semi-final, Akhil Sirohi opened the account in the first chukker for Mukundgarh, who started with half goal on handicap. NS Rajpurohit scored in the second chukker followed by a goal by Vikram Sodhi in the third chukker to make the score 2 to 1 1/2 in favour of Cafe Polo but in the third chukker Mukungarh8217;s Sangram Singh scored the match winner.

In the second semi-final, Tony Singh opened the account in the first chukker for Mt Kailash with Aman Suhag scoring the equaliser for NOIDA. In the second chukker, Aman Suhag scored two goals for NOIDA while Tony Singh scored one for Mt Kailash to make the score 3-2 in favour of NOIDA.

In the last chukker, Capt. SS Rathore scored one goal for Mt Kailash to equalise but Aman Suhag scored a goal in the dying moments to take the match in NOIDA8217;s favour. Meanwhile, Lt NS Sandhu has been selected to represent India in the International Show Jumping to be held at Seol from Nov 16 to 19.
