
IT solutions provider Mphasis BFL on Tuesday announced a 27.45 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 40.16 crore for the quarter ended September 30, against Rs 31.51 crore during the same period the previous year. Mphasis informed BSE its total income rose to Rs 230.22 crore for the second quarter this fiscal from Rs 191.10 crore last year.
CMC net profit down 25.39
MUMBAI: IT solutions provider CMC Ltd announced a 25.39 per cent decrease in net profit at Rs 9.46 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 12.68 crore last fiscal. Total revenue increased 11.61 per cent to Rs 197.56 crore from Rs 177 crore in the second quarter last year. Total revenue grew to Rs 210.01 crore from Rs 184.03crore last fiscal.
Igate net stronger by 84.9
New Delhi: Increasing margins helped Igate Global Solutions notch a 84.9 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit in the second quarter of this fiscal to Rs 5.62 crore. The growth was even more spectacular in comparison to the first quarter. The quarter-on-quarter growth in net profit was 296 per cent. The firm8217;s revenue during July-September 2005 was up 4.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 155.77 per cent while on quarter-on-quarter basis, it was up 4.6 per cent. Ebita has also grown to 10 per cent from 4 per cent.
Usha Martin pat up 72
New Delhi: Wire rope manufacturer Usha Martin Ltd UML has seen over 72 per cent growth in profit after tax to Rs 14.85 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal against Rs 8.63 crore in the previous quarter. UML8217;s profit before tax rose to Rs 23.25 crore from Rs 14.25 crore during the period, an increase of over 65 per cent. Their profit after and before tax rose 67 per cent each at Rs 28.08 crore and Rs 43.99 crore during the first half of this fiscal.
KSL Q2 net crosses Rs 8 crore
Mumbai: KSL Industries Ltd8217;s net profit increased to Rs 8.10 crore for the second quarter ended September as compared to Rs 1.39 crore last year. Net sales during the reporting quarter rose to Rs 87.5 crore against Rs 51.48 crore in Q2.

Mumbai: S Kumar8217;s saw a 134 per cent increase in operating profit in the first six months of this fiscal to Rs 60.99 crore from Rs 26.02 crore in the same period last year.
