MPCC to meet in Nashik on May 5, 6

NASHIK, April 14: A two-day State level meeting of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee will be held here on May 5 and 6. The Nashik city Congress president Murlidhar Mane, Nashik District Congress president Gopalrao Gulve and MPCC joint secretary Jaiprakash Chhajed, jointly addressed a press conference here yesterday informing of the change in schedule.

Earlier the meeting was to be held on May 2 and 3. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sharad Pawar will inaugurate the meeting.

MPCC president Ranjit Deshmukh will preside over the meeting. Congress president Sonia Gandhi will be coming for first time to Nashik and Maharashtra after taking charge. On conclusion of the two day meeting, Gandhi will address a public meeting at Golf Club ground on May 6.
