MoU on climate change signed

Indian and Japanese industry has formulated a joint action plan for low carbon economic growth in both countries. Industry chamber CII signed an MoU on Climate Change with Nippon Keidanren and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 8220;At a time when climate change deadlock continues, CII-Keidanren-JCCI partnership would serve as a model co-operation between the industry of developing and developed countries,8221; said CII president K V Kamath. The partnership is expected to strengthen the current initiatives to fight climate change.
