One more of those girl-meets-boy things which introduces new faces in a story as old as the hills.
Teen romances need to be really different to grab your attention and hold it. Robby Grewal tries it on, by giving us Paris. Girl’s (Hazel) mum had been kissed at the Eiffel Tower for the first time, so she wants a repeat performance. Boy (Ruslaan) buys a ticket using dad’s credit card, and find himself in the most romantic city in the world, minus girl’s whereabouts.
Could have been a nicer film, if the debutant actors (girl better than boy, but only a tad) had made their passion a little more believable. Some nice lines do not make a full film.
Meanwhile, enjoy Paris, with its elegant boulevards and a back lit shot of the Eiffel. Makes a change from New York. Or London.
