Bangalore-based HAL and Mohammedan Sporting, had to settle for a 0-0 draw despite playing attacking football, in their ONGC National Football League match here today. In the other NFL match played at Ludhiana JCT and Dempo were locked in a goalless draw while at Mumbai Mahindra United suffered a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Sporting Clube de Goa. The winning goal was scored by Malpherin Omagbei in 42nd minute the first half of the match.

Meanwhile in Kolkata Mohammedan and Hal started the match with three points and one point in their kitty respectively with both the outfits desperate for a win, but failure to make good chances to score by the strikers undid the two teams, who had to be satisfied with one point each.

Hal found the going a bit tough in alien conditions, but their desperation to stay afloat in the league was evident with their all out game.

The home team8217;s players had the larger share of ball control as well as chances, but the strikers floundered each time they had a chance to score.
