MUMBAI, AUG 26: Unit Trust of India has declared a 16 per cent dividend on the Mastershare, 1986. Mastershare, listed on the exchanges, have been on the rise, moving up from Rs 13.55 on August 12 to Rs 14.40 on Thursday in anticipation of the dividend.

Thanks to the NAV of the scheme turning attractive and the 16 per cent dividend, investors have been accumulating the units over the last two months. Mastershare touched a high of Rs 17.90 on July 26.
